‘Tsuna Hiichatta!’ is an original comedy directed by Mizuta Nobuo (‘Maiko Haaaan!!!’, ‘Nakumonka’) that depicts the struggles of a female tug-of-war team. Starring by Inoue Mao, who portrays ‘Nishikawa Chiaki’, a beautiful and diligent woman who works in the PR department at the public office of the city of Oita. The mayor of Oita puts her in charge of bringing the ‘Cosmo Ladies’, a female tug-of war team that’s already won the World Indoor Tug-of-War Championships three times, back to life. Finding members proves to be difficult, so she has no choice but to recruit her mother (Matsuzaka Keiko) and her colleagues. Nishikawa herself is forced to join when they fail to find a final member, and ends up becoming the team’s captain.
The trailer is showcases all the struggles, fun, friendship, teamwork, bonds and love that ‘Chiaki’ experiences while forming a team like no other to a very great extend and should give you a nice idea of what to expect from this movie.
Also appearing alongside Inoue and Matsuzaka are Tamayama Tetsuji, Asaji Yoko, Nishida Naomi, Sonim, Watanabe Naomi, and many more.
‘Tsuna Hiichatta!’ is scheduled to open in Japan on November 23rd.
